Ride the inside track as Alan Lewis, Director of Music at Calvary Episcopal Church, gives us a behind-the-scenes lecture/demonstration introducing the music scheduled for the concert of the famed Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge, scheduled to sing at Calvary on September 20 at 8:00.

7:30-8:30 PM 'Rip the Lid Off" with Alan Lewis.

 

Enjoy an engaging, in-depth background discussion of the upcoming concert under the expert tutelage of organist, harpsichordist, choral conductor and musicologist, Alan Lewis. Lewis completed his doctorate in music at the University of California, Berkeley. His dissertation research focused on the sacred vocal music of the Renaissance.

 

In the course of the evening’s presentation, Lewis will help lead Britsburghers to an enhanced appreciation of the upcoming performance by the legendary Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge under the direction of Stephen Layton.

 

Tickets to the Choir of Trinity College concert to be held on September 20th are available on our website. Members and those who attend this Festival event will receive $10 off.
