BRITSBURGH FESTIVAL - Mr. Rolls & Mr. Royce - The History of Rolls-Royce @ The Frick Pittsburgh

Starting this year, Britsburgh has introduced a series of Britsburgh Societies around a variety of themes. Current societies include the Britsburgh Art Society, the Britsburgh Beer Society, the Britsburgh History Society, the Britsburgh Performing Arts Society, the Britsburgh Literary Society, the Britsburgh Tea Society and the Britsburgh Travel Society—with more to come! Mr. Rolls and Mr. Royce - The History of Rolls-Royce @ The Frick Pittsburgh

Join us in the splendor of the Frick Pittsburgh's Car and Carriage Museum for a wonderful reception sponsored by The Frick Pittsburgh, UK Department for International Trade and Britsburgh Steering Wheel Club member - Rolls-Royce Nuclear Engineering Services (headquartered in Pittsburgh). Our Britsburgh Ale will feature along with British ale from Fuller's Brewery in London. Beer is sponsored by Vecenie Distributing Company.  Wine and soft drinks will also be available FREE at the reception.

UPDATE: We are delighted to announce that a display of 12 Roll-Royce motor cars will be on display by their owners in the Frick car park during the event.  They range in age from 1933 to 2012! So including the 2 in the Frick collection that's 14 in total.  What a great opportunity to see wonderful British cars in one place.

• 7-7.05pm Welcome by Robin Nicholson | Director of The Frick Pittsburgh and Britsburgh

• 7.05-7.10pm Ben Brierley | Head of Advanced Manufacturing, UK Department for International Trade

• 7.10-7.30pm Mr. Rolls and Mr. Royce - The History of Rolls-Royce presented by Michael Archer. Michael has worked for Rolls-Royce for more years than he cares to remember. He is a Senior Engineer, based in Pittsburgh working for Rolls-Royce Nuclear Engineering Services.

• 7.30-7.50pm Robin Nicholson | Director of The Frick Pittsburgh, will lead us in a tour of the Car and Carriage Museum with particular attention to the two Rolls-Royce motor vehicles in the collection.
